Week of April 23, 2001
 |
As the Chief of Affiliate Operations for SPONGE, I have compiled a weekly report of activities around the country (and ultimately the globe) involving SPONGE affiliates, their investigations, and any relevant material.

BOT
Broon will be appering at the last two weeks of the Dunwich Festival which started this past Saturday, April 21.
For the first time since 1992, Broon will not be at the Georgia Renaissance Festival.
BOT is also preparing for the affect that a lack of Guiness might have on Broon.

MUCUS
MUCUS site has been taken over by "SNOT". This group appears to be bent on disruption of service. There are no indications of any truly evil intent at this time. Most portions of MUCUS website are still intact.

SACEMOTH
We have several things to report from SACEMOTH this
week.
First, we have been having some problems with the
hosting source for our primary website, that have
pretty much made it impossible for us to update the
site as we planned to do this week. HOWEVER, we DID
plan ahead: SACEMOTH has a mirror site! Please visit
it at:
www.angelfire.com/tn2/sacemoth/
We have added a number of items, including the first
installments of our "Armory" section. Enjoy!
Second, this week Dr. T.N. Smith decided that he was
going to the home of Historian Shadow, of the Western
Survivalists, to assist him in dealing with certain .
. . "problems," shall we say, that were expected to
arise from a challenge Shadow posted on the SPONGE
Forum in response to the recent unfortunate happenings
on the MUCUS website. While it appeared that all PONGE
personnel involved in this unsanctioned mission were
still alive and fairly much in one piece as this was
being written, a complete update will have to wait
until our next report.
Third, all members of SACEMOTH underwent a mandatory
physical exam over the weekend, including a new test
technique called SPMRA. Although all exam results are
of course not yet finalized, we are happy to report
that no major problems were detected.
Finally, we must again report that we have no
additional information to add on the continuing search
for Matrin and Uta Taylor. We will of course be
continuing to do our part in the search, despite the
lack of results to this point.
